History:
Rajmahal Palace was built in 1729 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh of Jaipur. The palace was used from 1821 onwards to house the British resident at Jaipur and other VIPs. The palace was converted into a hotel in 1979 and is now under the management of Taj Group of hotels. The small palace has spacious rooms and suites, Chandeliers, period furniture, painting and antiques.
